Fit out of Felixstowe Pharmacy

Felixstowe Pharmacy has secured a pharmacy contract to open at the Central Surgery in Felixstowe with a 12-month plan of moving to a new purpose-built medical centre. The pharmacy had two main requirements for APM Healthcare, to fit out the pharmacy unit in the new medical centre and, because the pharmacy contract had to initially open at the existing surgery premises, they needed a temporary modular building to operate from whilst the new primary care centre was under construction.
What we did
APM Healthcare arranged the planning application, project planning and deployment of a 3 Bay modular unit connected by a covered walkway to the old main surgery building.
The modular building was fitted out as a fully functional pharmacy unit, complete with all service connections. The unit was occupied for a period of just over 12 months when the pharmacy contract moved to the new purpose built medical centre on Grove Road.
The second phase of the development was to provide the full turnkey solution design and fit out of the new shell unit at Grove Road Medical Centre.
APM Healthcare provided a full design and fit out solution for Felixstowe Pharmacy. The project was managed from the early stages to ensure the client had input into the design and specification of the shell.
APM Healthcare worked with the client, developer and design team to ensure the fit out was integrated and sympathetic to the main design solution for the new centre.
The skilled onsite installation team worked with the main contractor to provide a fully fitted unit that exceeded the expectations of the client.
